The Department strongly believes in the interdisciplinary nature of research in Engineering Mathematics, and is involved in a wide variety of research activities. Much of these relate to using mathematics to handle problems occurring in engineering, science, social science, etc. The applications of mathematical techniques to problems which have specific relevance to the national development are of particular interest to the Department. Our staff is keen to further multidisciplinary research, and would welcome chances of collaboration with researchers from virtually any discipline.
